How this estimator works
This tool does not attempt to reproduce official scoring systems. Instead, it uses your self-reported practice AFQT estimate, timeline, study rhythm and confidence by subject area to produce a practical study-readiness report.

| Verbal and math confidence | Word Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension, Arithmetic Reasoning and Mathematics Knowledge are the core AFQT subtest areas. |
| Technical confidence | Science, electronics, mechanical, shop and spatial areas can matter for role conversations and technical interest paths. |
| Timeline and study rhythm | A strong score with no rhythm can still be fragile. A low score with three months and regular practice can improve. |
Official-source guardrails
GoArmy currently states that enlistment requires an ASVAB score of at least 31, and describes an academic track of the Future Soldier Preparatory Course for some people with a minimum score of 21. Official ASVAB guidance explains that AFQT scores are percentiles from 1 to 99 and are computed from four ASVAB subtests: AR, MK, PC and WK.
